::A pofessor of mine had a friend whose domestic outdoor cat mated with a racoon. I did not believe it, but he brought in a picture. They kept it and it was fairly tame he said...wierd lookin thing though.

:Lol no thats an old joke he has whats called a Coon cat it is ofcourse a cat but is bred to have a racoon like thick tail with same markings.Its a recognized cat breed,Maybe not called a racoon cat anymore forgot the actual breeds name but thats what he has.
