Frogs should be the edible frog(Rana esculenta)...The result of Rana ridibunda and Rana lessonae breeding. The edible frog can breed with either of its parent species to make more edible frogs or can breed with other edible frogs. Then again, you have frogs like Ceratophrys where you can breed the frog to any member of the genus and there still will be no fertile offspring produced from the pairing. Andy
