No, it would be an intergrade. Intergrade is a cross between subspecies or localities, and hybrids are interspecies crosses. Cali kings are Lampropeltis getula californae and Apalachicola kings are L. g. goini.

I've never heard of the cross being done, and I don't think it would produce a particularly interesting looking snake, but if you do, post some pics! :) Good luck with whatever you decide.
