Sure, groups of people who are more closely related resemble each other more, but when you talk about a 'race' you're saying that all black people are more closely related to each other than all white people, and that's been disproven. There are ethnic groups in Africa that are more distantly related to each other than any white person is to any Asian person.
Races do sort of exsist as cultures, at least in the US, but they don't have a genetic basis.
