Hello, I'm back into my passion again and I really want to make Borneo Bateaters. For those of you unfamiliar with the term it's a Retic X Burm hybrid... Anyway, I have a female Java locality Retic, she is BEAUTIFUL, and I want to pair her up with a male burm... She is still young, about 7 months max, but I want to get the Burm now so I can get thaem both ready early. If anyone on here has tried this and succeeded, please let me know the best method. I know that the mortality rate is rather high, and I want good, healthy babies. So let me know whatever info you have. I have read pretty much ALL the information regarding this cross that I can find, and most of it says nothing about the actual breeding process. Do I need a female burm to work the male up with before I put him with the Retic? I am drawing a blank here... Talk to me. Thanks, Shroud
