An intergrade is between two subspecies and a hybrid is between two species. For them to be natural they would have to occur in the wild where the ranges overlap, you cannot make a NATURAL intergrade but you can perpetuate one if the stock came from the wild. This says nothing about weather manmade intergrades are right or wrong, it's just the definition of the words. For manmade intergrades/hybrids I prefer the term "cross".
