Very interesting how the light parts of the Forest Corn's pattern looks like a Desert King (L. g. splendida) when splendida and Mexican Black Kings (L. g. nigritis) intergrade in the wild. Also some nigrits have remnants of a splendida like pattern when they are born and darken later. Maybe yours will darken too.
