No, it is a captive bred animal. I have seen pics of both parents, they are definitely indigo and black tail cribo. I, too, was skeptical at first, but got a second and third opinion and confirmed the identification. It has the feed response of both combined, I've never seen a snake so eager to feed, except maybe my spilotes.
