It's basic taxonony. Reptiles and amphibians are in the kingdom animalia, therefore they are animals. Reptiles are also in the phylum chordata, along with mammals and a few other animals, but it is the class where they are seperated from other animals. Reptiles (class reptilia) are a different class than other animals, but they are still animals. And you shouldn't make a generalization that Christians are stubborn. You could say that this particular individual is obstinate, but I would just say he is sticking with the facts he knows. I am Christian, and herps are my life. I think it was foolish of him to say reptiles weren't ment to be animals by God, but you saying Christians are stubborn is going a little too far. Have a nice day,
