:I LIVE in rural East Texas, halfway between Dallas and Shreveport. I haven't lived inside a city limits sign since July of 1984. I went to school here, got my degree here, burrie dmy mom here, got married here, had a kid here, got divorced here (from a woman who moved to Los Angeles after 7 years of telling me how sorry Texas is), hold a job here, own a house here, all my friends and most of my family are here and all my SNAKES are here. 2 weekends ago my grandma called to see if the space shuttle was in my backyard (I'm a bit north of that)
:I have been all over this country and met ppl from all over the world (since I work in the Oil&Gas industry) and they all think we are crazy gun owning rednecks cause we are "from Texas". I don't care. I hate to perpetuate a stereotype but sometimes it can be funny.
:So, I appreciate your concern but if you can't laugh at it you may have a tough time. :)
