I agree. I have no accent whatsoever and have grown up in Texas. I always find all these jokes rather dull...espescially since most jokes end up being about Texans with handguns or bibles or accents. "Only things that come outta Texas are steers and queers." Gosh it's not like you are just so funny and so original. Get over it and start making jokes that are not so stereotypical. If I showed you a picture of some places in Texas you probably could not tell them apart from any other city. So drop it.
