You go to the zoo and see some Sulawesi macaques, you immediately tell your friend/relative/whoever's with you that they would be food for a reticulated python, and go into detail about the retics on Sulawesi.
You get mad when someone calls a beautiful anaconda skin a python skin.
You have no idea why talking about snakes eating rats gets people to lose their appetites.
You see one of your pets B.R. (before reptiles), such as a guinea pig, and think "hmmm, my ball's gotta get about another foot before she could tackle them."
