:No, Chuck, Phrynosoma douglasi is not a dwarf. Phrynosoma douglasi is the Pygmy Shorthorned Lizard. Dwarfism is a genetic defect. Pygmy is an entire genetic makeup, not a defect. Lester G. Milroy III
