:::Jeff, why is it that the only HL allowed in the pet trade in California is the Roundtail Horned Lizard? I know the laws because I work with the laws. I see it in action all of the time. I have seen nearly all species of HLs in the pet trade in California and I report such. I have worked with F&W in the illegal trade of protected species in states such as New York, New Jersey, Florida, and others that have had HLs that are not allowed in the pet trade. I have taken "custody" of HLs through action by F&G, as well as F&W action. If you want to argue law, then do it in court. Lester G. Milroy III

: Lester, Why do you keep on with the rude comments? First off you should take your own advice, save your own preaching on law for court, most of your statements on law have been untrue. I've posted official links backing it. Where is your so called scientific backing. I ask just one question show me the law that says only the round-tailed HL is allowed for sale in California?

:Jeff, call Fish and Game and you find out for yourself. It is illegal for any native species to be sold in the pet trade in California, unless they are captive-bred with permits and license. I have seen folks fined up to $5000.00 for illegally dealing with the sale of native species. This is all I am going to deal with this issue here on the forum. If you want to discuss it further, send me an email. I am tired of some self-serving agenda that you may have going for yourself. If you think this is rude, that is your decision. Lester G.
