Is Phrynosoma coronatum coronatum a live-bearer?

I have read reports that that the subspecies p. coronatum coronatum, found in the cape region of baja california, gives birth to live young. Can anyone shed light on this subject. If this is true current taxonomy would need to be revised. As of now three subspecies are allied to coronatum coronatum(indet, jamesi,cerroense) and two to blainvillei(frontale and schmidti).
