Sometimes I get surprised

Okay, the boy just emailed me that he is willing to drive out to the desert this coming sunday and release our little pal back.

If he has eaten mealworms and a cricket, can I release him? I really want to, but I started scanning down to les's messages about reintroducing. He was never in a pet store.

What should we do? He has been in captivity 1 week and 1 day.
