:Hi thanks Lester for all the information you have provided for me. I have had my two desert hls for two months. They have eaten crickets much of the time. I do not have the access to ants here and was wondering if I HAVE to give ants to my hls, if it is best. And if not, what can I give them instead of ants to get the formic acid they need to be healthy? Thanks again for your time.
:You must have ants for the HL diet. There are no substitutes. There are no "magic" replacements for ants. Ants are the primary staple food item in the HL diet. Check here in the forum for the source of ants (lifestudies.com and 1-877-864-2207). Lester G. Milroy III
