(switching to TX accent) As tha kids and grandkids never saw a horny toad, whal I was wondering whar that reserve might be at. Gonna take a trip this comin summer down to San Anton area along I-35 and was wonderin about directions in case anyone knows. Thanks yawl to anyone. Have a good un.

::Hello Gloria. I am not aware of a specific HL reserve in Texas. There are several spot reserves showing up now and then. Contact Texas Parks and Wildlife and they can probably help you out more. There is a study center in San Angelo, Texas. Hope this helps. Lester G. Milroy III

I've seen a news bit on a HL project center somewhere in West TX. They sure had a heap of horny toads! TPW&D www.tpwd.state.tx.us has some info on their HL programs. If you get to visit the HL preserve let us know! I live in Texas, too, and would be interested in seeing it.
