:No, do not put HLs in the 'fridge. HLs in Florida may have a different sequence and hibernate due to the photocycle. Temps below 60 might work. You will have to experiment and observe. Florida is out of the range of HL species and that may be one of the reasons that there are no natural populations in Florida. The populations that are in North Carolina are isolated and "nonnative" to the area but other factors that are involved have not been studied in great depth. Lester G. Milroy III
