: : : i was just wandering what the breeding age for a hl is. my female is maby a year old and i think she wants to mate with the new male. when he comes any where close to her she will flaten out and lift up her tale. he shows now intrest in her, so i was just wandering why she was doing this.
: raising of the tail often is used to let other HL's know that there is no interest. it seems your female isn't interested either and is letting the male know that shouldn't come to close.
: Are you sure about the sexes

You know i watched that little dance between my male and my female, he would chase her around she would lift her tail, i think he was sniffin her butt found it ammusing then he would eventually mount her and do his thing, this entire thing went on for about 4 hrs the other night. and they probably hooked up 5-6 times in that 4 hrs
