lester i got a new horned lizard, and this on is in bad shape. its vary thin. the fat store at the base of the tail is almost gone. its hips are sticking out bad. the limbs are vary boney. when it flatens out; the duble frige dos not stick out right; the uper row of spikes sticks out the lower one tuckes under with the ribs sticking out the sides. the larger head horns show that it has had a rough life they are not round but flat and are shaped like a step pyramid the one that i alredy had has nice round horns that do not step that bad. i was wondering about a food to feed with the ants to faten him up. my mom said that they have had a record heat spell and the ants are just not out as much. they have only seen maby five a day. she foun this one in the road so she cought it brout it home and called me about it and ask me if i wanted it so i said yes. now i need to try and faten this guy up. so far he has eaten all my ants and a lot of millworms. thanks for any info
p.s. yes i now the lizards i have are protected and that now i have a male and a female of about the same age the male a little older but i thought that if i have kept the female vary happy and very healthy. so i wanted to do the same for the other one. it was not untill i had seen it for the first time that i new this HL was in worse shape as first thought.
