Any given species of HL can have somewhat reddish populations. The populations that live on a "red"
surface will eventually turn out to get a reddish color. This because a reddish animal is harder to spot on a "red" surface than a brown. The Reddish animals for that reason are most likely to escape, live and breed. this way you get a natural selective breeding resulting in a redish (or any other given background color) color. all species therefor are likely to have "red" populations.
