:What kind of Harvester Ants are giving you problems? If you have ants getting into you house or the like, they are not harvester ants. Harvester ants do not "invade" houses. If you have them in you yard, up close to you house, use local control. HLs will not stay in an area where you put them outdoors unless you enclose an area to control their home-range behavior. That is not a healthy practice for HLs either, unless you have a very large area and only one or two HLs per acre. Lester G. Milroy III
