that you purchased some Phrynosoma modestum, or Roundtail Horned Lizards, as they are commonly marked as "texas horned lizards"

if you're lizard looks like this:
then you have a Roundtail horned lizard, which is a legal species.

If your lizard looks like this:
then unfortunately, you do have the Texas Horned Lizard (Phrynosoma cornutum) which is a protected species. If you have roundtails send me an email, as I'd be glad to take them of your hands and pay for shipping etc. Actually, lester..if you read this; will P. modestum eat Camponotus sp. ants? what about Pogonomyrex? I have a colony of Pogonomyrex sp. and a Camponotus queen thats tending to eggs as I type. Well anyways, send me an email if you have roundtails. If it turns out you have P. cornutum then I'm sure Lester would be able to advise you as to where you could take them.
