I'll be working with my vet on Friday, and I may just bring my Hoggie along for a quick once over. Right now he seems fine, and he has defacated after his meal, so I think all is well (I hope).

Do you think, if it were a parasite, that it would be something that either Flagyl or Panacur would not kill? I ask because they were both treated when I got them, but that was 8 months ago, so maybe its time for another hit?

I'll let you know what the vet thinks!

Thanx for all the responses!

:You should keep an eye on this. I just got done reading the book on reptile parasites by Dr Klingenberg. It is at work now but I believe a mucus discharge could be an indication of endoparasites. Check out the stool and make sure they are absolutely normal.
:Speaking of drinking too much, when I picked up a yearling Eastern yesterday (captive) it did in fact spit up some WATER. There may be some credence behind the previous poster's claim.
