:I have beem bitten a few times the symptoms for me have been at worst a swollen and stiff finger and that was only after the female chewed for a a bit of time on my finger, most of the time its just like getting a thorn prick, dont let it worry you they are great little things and mostly very well behaved, my female tends to bite defensively so she rarely does it unless picked p when startled.
:she isnt usual most bites are stupid feeding accidents and neonates are the most likely candidates just biting out hoping your dinner :)

I got bit by gater snake once it did not break the skin. I also got bit by an iguana and it was worse than a snake bite. I also used to have a female california kingsnake and she never tried to bite me. I will be getting some 2003 california kingsnake hatchlings and some baby hognoses too. And maybe even a corn snake or two. Lol I want a small collection. But iwant to breed snakes as a hobby. I had hermit crabs to lay eggs once ask me how i dont know but it happened. So i figure if i can get crabs to do that then snakes cant be that hard lol.
