This just worked for me...I found some tadpoles and made a mush...then I rolled the rat pups ..in your case pinky mice...in the mush put the prey in a hide box and showed the snake to the hide box. Not 2 seconds later the rat pup was screaming. I have also read rosyred the feeder fish have successfully fed young westerns. Good Luck
:I have a young Western Hognose. About 6-inches long. Have had him now about three weeks, and he has yet to eat for me. I am offering f/t pinkies and he refuses them. Do I switch to live pinkies? Help.
