Good responses. It's rewarding to discuss interesting topics without degenerating into juvinile bickering.
I'm willing to suspend my doubts about an all rodent diet until such time as the subject is studied and reported in detail. Necropsies of both rodent fed and non-rodent fed hogs in statistcally significant quantities would be very interesting to examine. Truth is, that's not very likely to ever happen. In the mean time, I'll feed mine what I'm comfortable with and you do the same. Neither of us will ever know for sure which was better for the snakes, but we'll both be happier ourselves. After all, however great our intententions and concerns for the animals and environment, we keep snakes as pets to make ourselves happy.
