Wait a second here...I gave the person information...legitimate information. Then I added my OPINION, that it would be easier to get it on mice. And I am still waiting for the clique (as you make it seem) that believes in feeding only toads to produce any information that mice are infact detrimental to the health of Heterodon. They have an already frail nature so when people feed them mice and they die, they ASSUME (key word...assume as in guess without data) that their hognose died of eating mice. I have heard claims that a hognose had died due to eating a mouse from 2 days ago...Now seriously, would you believe that? I sure wouldn't...So please try to be OPEN-MINDED. I do use toads when I have to and feed them other stubborn feeders as well (some Thamnophis or Nerodia will only take Bufo and Rana). And now I do not have any more time to waste on this discussion because it is so inflammatory and repetitive. Andy
