This question comes up here frequently. Everyone has their own opinions, few of which are anything more than anecdotal observations.
Here's mine -
Feed only captive bred rodents. This will decrease the probability of parasite transfer and prevent the snake from getting fixated on some other, difficult to get, food source.
Hogs live and breed quite well in captivity for decades eating nothing but rodents. Why mess with success?
I doubt they have enough cognitive capacity to "enjoy" the variation (although some owners will swear they do!).
