Good to hear he has calmed down from his initial feisty attitude. Aren't they awesome snakes?! My little guy is great, I like his little nostril holes and cool black belly. His name is Roscoe. I was also tempted to go with Wilbur. Good luck finiding a name.

:The best snakes ever! Last night I handled my new baby hoggie for the first time, and he was *so* calm and *so* cute - the cutest of all hognose snakes, IMO! He just has the cutest little eyes and face!! I put my finger right up under his face, and he didn't even flinch. This is definitel;y one to show off the kids...very trustworthy!

:It's unbelievable how different he is from my pythons and corn. He moves around his cage in little jerks, with his little eyes going this way and that (it's so cool that I can see his eyes move!)

:I've very much in love. Makes me wonder why I waited so long to buy one of these guys! This was the first kind of snake I ever held as a kid. I used to be afraid of snakes, but I love them now thanks to that first Hognose! I can definitely see myself getting more of these. Now he needs a name, though...
