I had the same thing happening with my easterns. The guys told me to try smaller food items and they keep it down now. I always want to feed it something big since they can handle it but it is not a good idea.

:I fed one of my young hognose snakes a f/t mouse that was a bit larger than I usually feed him and it took him an hour or so but he got it down..the next morning he had some bad smelling brown liqid dripping from his mouth..I thought he would just puke it out but its been a few days now and the mouse is still in him .. so is this normal ? was it just to much for him that the fluids were just over flowing ? or could it have been a bad mouse ? ps I will stick to feeding him smaller mice from now on. thanks..JIM.
