Hypomelanism in Hognose

Just wondering how this trait affects hognose. I have an animal which is very light dorsally but has a dark belly. His blotches almost match his background color which is very light.
His belly color is more of a dark chocolate which is unlike the black color of my other hognoses' bellies. I have pics available on e-mail by request. Thanks.
