Some people do keep them together but I would rather not risk it. Hognose can be cannibalistic and will eat each other. I have even seen hognose begin chewing on their own tail and swallowing it a fair amount before realizing they can not swallow it. It is better to be safe than sorry and keep them apart until breeding season IMO. I would keep a hog in a 20 gallon tank just for the extra room but some people keep one individual male in a 10 gallon tank. Andy
