my 02 western hog is only about9" long and he takes down fuzzies. I tried to excite him with a large live toad once and he latched on to it. The thing was about 8 times the width of his head. they don't call them hogs for nothing I guess.


:They grow much slower and you must remember that hogs as well are smaller snakes, barely hitting over 2-3 ft. Males are a fair amount smaller than the females too so add that factor in. Andy
