:I agree with A.C.- Toads (of the Bufo species) are a natural diet for these guys. I'm not sure where you are located but here in NC it is fairly easy to find Bufos now as the weather warms up. You may be able to collect some. Then again, if it is getting warm where you are, you might consider releasing the snake and letting his instincts kick in ... Good Luck!

:I work at a pet shop. In october, someone brought us a wild caught eastern hognose. It's illegal for us to sell, so we're releasing it once it warms back up. Problem is that aside from the jump start we force feed it, it won't eat at all, and hasn't since we acquired it. We've tried mice, pinky mice, pinky rats, anoles, frogs, crickets... just about everything in hopes that he'd eat at least something. Any suggestions for getting him to eat or what better to force feed him would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
