this is in reference to an earlier post about how to tell the difference between Plains, Dusty and Mexican. i have 2 questions:
1. when counting the dorsal blotches, do you stop where the tail starts or not? by the time you get to the tail, these are usually bands or rings, not blotches.
2. would the number of blotches be fewer on a juvenile than on an adult, or would it be the same?
i know these probably sound like silly questions, but i've been reading and reading...particularly the hognose.com website and i'm still confused. HELP!! the pic is my female that i got last year and i'd like to know specifically what she is.
