:Do you mean like a mole or shrew? Or like a sloth? You are confusing!

Those are all vertebrates, last I checked, as are hognosed snakes.

I am saying that vertebrates share some physiological characteristics and differ in others. Does the mouse data apply to snakes? I don't know, but it could.
