I have the best luck with DOR leopard frogs and toads. In late summer after a rain I pick up DOR's to last me through the winter. It's very easy to pick up 50-100 dead frogs in 30 minutes or so. I freeze them in a ZIPLOC and then break off a chunk of frozen frog when I need it. Thawed at room temps, the frog parts usually produce a reddish clear plasma type liquid that works really well for scenting pinks/rat pups. I don't feed my hogs anything with hair though.
