5.5gal. aquarium for a western?

Hi, I have a 5.5gal. tank with a screen lid and a heat pad that covers about 50% of the tank. I was wondering if a western hognose could live in there for a while if not permanently. I read in the 2001 reptiles usa that you can can keep one in a 5gal.. I could buy clips for the lid and hides and bedding and stuff. I have it packed in my closet and would like to put an animal in it since it has the stick-on heat pad.
