:I use Carefresh Bedding - it's environmentally friendly. Plus - while being soft, it holds the tunnels and burrows really well. Harley has a very deep layer of it, particularly on the side with the undertank heating pad. On top of that side he has an interesting branch type thing which he will often use to tunnel under. On the other side (cool) he also has a hidebox which he has never used (as far as I know. He also has a large, shallow rock dish for water. I have a uv light and a small heat lamp on the tank (UV has not been proven necessary in snakes, however since he is diurnal and would be exposed to UV in Nature, I think it's a good practice). His lighting is on a timer. He's in a 20 long aquarium (30 inches) which he cruises at least twice a day (morning and evening).
