Unless you get a permit you can't have a Gila in CA. You won't get a permit so you can't have a Gila. CA is not like other states that just want people to have a permit so they can keep track of the animals.
You CAN have a Beaded lizard. They have not added them to the list YET. Chances are your city will have laws against keeping venomous reptiles so Beadeds might be illegal too.
I think CA sucks, can't wait to retire in a quite state that will leave me alone.
