::::The Gila Ranch will be at the San Antonio Venomous Reptile Show December 14th and the 15th.
:::: If you want your gilas or beaded sexed please call or email Chris at the Gila Ranch 830-995-2466
::: Unfortunately I live too far away to take advantage of this (I live in FL). Just out of curiousity, are you using ultrasound to determine sex?
::: I'm trying to make arrangements to use the ultrasound at my work to determine the sex of my cinctum. He/she is only a year old so I'm not sure how easy it will be to do at this age. I have Dr Seward's book which makes it look easy....I guess I'll find out soon.

::Hi Chris,
:: I can pop them at two years old or older as long as they are not obese.
:: I didn't know you could sex a one year old by ultrasound.
::Let me know what you see.
:: Regards,Chris
:::
:It probably is too young to ultrasound but since I have free access to one I figured I'll give it a try. I'll try to post some pics on here when I do. At what age do you think ultrasound becomes a reliable method?
: Thanks,
: Chris
Hi Chris,
I would assume on their second year that is when I see folicles and sperm plugs.
I wish I had a ultrasound machine. It is a little hair raising palpating my adult females every season. :)
