......I'm suffering from "non-encouter helodermatitis", in other words: I have not seen a wild gila this year, mostly because I've only been able to go looking once. I got close though, just missing seeing a couple by a matter of moments based on the freshness of the "sign". I'll have another chance in August when hopefully the summer rains will have had some effect on the drought, so my prognosis is still hopeful. Until then I'll just have to keep lookin' at these old pics......
