Thats a good question. When I got my pair I intentionally tried to get the animals to bite without success(My hand wasn't in the glove). I even tried to get one of my Beaded Lizards to bite but all they would do is push it away with their heads. Regardless of their reluctance to bite I still wear them each and every time I work with these animals.
