Thats right Jackie, Ask Ken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!

: : : Allen, Introduce your known female to the "male" of the pair you purchased and see how they react. If that goes well try putting your known female with the "female" of the pair and observe their reactions. One word of caution, You should never let the aggression escalate to the point where one of the animals is biting the other(they can very easily sever a limb). I have one definate female in my collection that will not tolerate any of my males except one so evidently some animals regardless of sex just aren't compatible.

: : Jackie,
: : I did the opposite of what you suggested after speaking to Ken. I put the "female" with my known male and they are getting along fine.
: : My next question: If 2 gilas seem to get along when they are put together, does this usually ensure they are not 2 males or at least one of them is a female??? In other words, will 2 males always fight when paired together?
