Beaded Lizards

I know that keeping Gila Monsters in California is illegal unless under a license. Almost imposible to get. Was wondering about Beaded Lizards though. Are they also under the same laws? Just wondering since I have seen a California reptile breeder with them advertized. Any info would help.
