Dan, I only feed my animals mice so I have no first hand experience at feeding eggs. However I have heard that feeding eggs whether cooked or raw causes the animlas to have runny bowel movements. If you do decide to use eggs make sure you cook them thoroughly to kill any Salmonella bacteria that may be present.
I would recommend you stick with feeding mice and just increase the frequency/amount that you feed the animal.
