Kerry,

Not to be too nosey, but are you still involved in field research? And do you plan to continue this coming season. My reason for asking is that I think it would be a great addition to all of the captive information that we are posting to keep us abreast of the gilas in the wild (observations etc).

You see it is easy for me to post a picture like this.....

But its the photos like yours that I find more interesting. Number 1 because from what I understand it is very rare to observe 1 in the wild let alone repeatedly over a time span.

Very good work!!!! And please share more. Keeping them in captivity is GREAT but seeing them in the wild is I'm sure something to remember.
