: ......It's my opinion that the "true cinctum" have their genetic roots mostly north and west of the Colorado River(California, Nevada, Utah, and the "Arizona strip") Although most of the specimens from north and west of Wickenburg, Arizona appear to be banded, a great many reticulated specimens show up as well, sometimes all of the way up to the Kingman area. Dark tail bands in Arizona cinctum can be equal in width to the lighter ones fairly regularly.
